COVID-19 Church Update

We pray everyone is doing well and home safe with family. Just wanted to give a brief update regarding our response as a church to COVID-19.  As of Tuesday March 17th, 2020 –we have transitioned our services online until further notice to comply with Government officials. Our brother Jonathan Calderon kicked it off this past Tuesday and it was truly a blessing to see many tuning in. Let’s all share these online services when they are being held during our regular scheduled service times so that we can make an impact in the lives that are connected to us in social media.  Remote services will continue on Sundays Worship Service at 9:00 am; Tuesdays at 8:00 pm for Bible Study and Thursdays Prayer Service at 8:00 pm through FaceBook United Prayer Vault.  Our church social media accounts are as follows:

FaceBook https://www.facebook.com/MissionUnitedChurch/

Instagram https://www.instagram.com/muichurch/

Twitter https://www.twitter.com/missionunited13

Please note that all church activities are suspended effective immediately in our response to this pandemic. In the interim, we are researching other ways in which we can be of a support to the community during this time.  One of the things we are looking to institute is a “Meals-To-Go” program so we can share with anyone having an urgent need for food.  We will post and share more updates to our forms of outreach as soon as possible.

If anyone has any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us so that we can assist. We already miss the MUI family and are very eager for us to reunite again! Stay hopeful, focused and prayerful.

With Love and Prayers,

MUI Church

COVID-19 UPDATE

Due to the growing pandemic of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), MUI Church would like to inform you of the steps that our team is taking to prevent the transmission of the virus and protect our community while still serving our members, visitors and community. We encourage you to continue to wash your hands thoroughly and refrain from contact such as high fives, hugs, etc. If you or anyone in your family are experiencing symptoms or in a designated area that is announced for containment, please stay home until there is clearance.  While we embrace God’s protection, we are also to exercise wisdom and appropriate decision making for the health and safety of the people (Proverbs 19:8). As a team, we are ensuring that our church has a clean and sanitized environment on a regular basis, which includes sanitizing door handles, bathroom and general surfaces. Our service times will remain the same, unless otherwise noted we will keep you abreast through our emergency contact system as well as through social media, calls and texting.

While we are a very welcoming church, our greeting team and leaders will not be giving out handshakes, high fives, hugs, or engage in close physical contact as means of prevention of the transmission of this virus.

We continue to pray for the healing of those affected by this virus and trust God’s perfect plan as we go through this season.

If you have any questions, please contact us at info@muichurch.org or speak with anyone of our team members through our messaging systems.

Thank you for your cooperation, understanding and prayer in this matter.
